A dessert very popular that adults and children love is the flan and if it is also much better homemade than those of commercial brands. First, prepare the candy for the vanilla flan. You just have to place a saucepan in the fire, add 3 or 4 tablespoons of sugar and 1 of water and stir the mixture until it acquires the texture and color of the caramel. When you are ready, place the candy in the mold you are going to use or in the small flaneras, do not forget to paint the mold walls very well. Set them aside and let them cool.

Then, take a bowl and beat the eggs in it with the help of manual or electric rods. Add sugar, milk and vanilla essence. If you want the aroma and flavor of the flan to be more intense, you can add more vanilla than recommended in this recipe. Mix all the ingredients well with the rods until you see that they are fully integrated.

Once the mixture of vanilla flan be ready, pour it in the mold or in the flannels. Insert the mold into the oven, at a temperature of 190ºC and bake it following the water bath technique for at least 1 hour.

After this time, you should check if the vanilla flan ready. For this we recommend you to test the stick. Insert a stick in the center of the flan and if it comes out completely clean, it will mean that it is ready to be removed. If so, you should turn off the oven and let the flan cool to be able to take it out of the mold and eat it.
